Cabaret Noir: Paint nails with a golden polish and create a French tip with black.

Double Dip: Sweep a metallic shade over the entire nail. Then overlay a darker colour from the top of the moons to the tips.

Midnight in Paris: Paint one nail on each hand each with a different dark-coloured polish. All daring dark -- all dramatically different.

Shades of Grey: Apply a very dark hue on the bottom one-third of the nail. Paint the middle section of your nail in a shade that's a tint lighter than the first. For the remaining nail tip, dab on a glitter polish with a sponge to get that ombré effect.

Ring of Fire: Paint a nice coppery/golden shade on all digits except for the ring fingers. On the ring fingers choose a nice contrasting shade like a dark berry hues on your ring fingers only.

Strip Tease: Paint nails in dark intense shades. Then break it up with a thin strip of a glittering contrasting colour. Sweep your brush diagonally from the bottom of the nail to the tip.
