What is your resolution for 2013? Mine is to religiously follow at least 4 trends out of the 5 that are going to rock the entire year! You know, I am quite serious when it comes to shoes. To me, there’s no such thing as ‘too many shoes’.  Whoever quoted “A girl can never have too many shoes” is absolutely correct!

I am sure you, my fashionistas, are aware of different kinds of shoes, not claiming that I am gonna introduce you to completely new shoes but the ones that are going to rule the runway, streets, clubs and pretty much everywhere. Last year’s entrants were quite interesting like the oxfords and brogues, military boots, T-straps and what not.

Similarly, we will see a lot of trends repeating themselves. Remember girls, fashion, like any other thing, repeats itself in a circular pattern. Never throw away your belongings thinking they may not stay in fashion in the years to come, they will.

Talking about the shoes for 2013, I am listing down 5 trends which will stay in sight the entire year.

Platform Pumps- These stylish and comfortable pairs are not going out of fashion, so stock them in different colors  Try and avoid the basic ones like black and nude, it’s time to experiment with co lours like bright orange, neon pink and sunshine yellow.

Flats, flats, flats: I mean, who doesn't own at least 3 pairs of flats? If you don’t, you must. They’re effortlessly stylish and let’s not even mention the comfort meter. Stock up on T straps, ballet flats, loafers, moccasins and anything that has a flat sole.

Oxfords and Brogues: There are here and here to stay. Again, I would suggest ditching the neutrals and going bright to add more value to your outfit.

Block Heels: We witnessed amazing block heels last year and they will continue this year as well. Try finding a pair that has some major co lour blocking!

Spiky shoes: Any pair that has spikes on it should be your choice! Spiky flats, spiky heels, spiky booties, spiky uggs, you can buy any or maybe all!

So, rock your feet with these major shoe styles. The only criteria to keep in mind this year is the ‘colour’!
